Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains how 5TVPN collects, uses, retains, and deletes data when providing cross-border access, international routes, and network acceleration subscriptions. Please read these terms before using the service. Data processing is limited to providing account features, completing orders, maintaining network operations, and meeting necessary obligations.
Scope and Processing Principles
This policy applies to 5TVPN marketing pages, the user panel, subscription services, and support tickets. Data processing follows the principles of clear purpose, necessity, and proportionate retention. Different features require different data; when a feature is not used, the service does not request additional information solely for that feature.
No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are sufficient. Therefore, the service does not collect a registration email when an account is created. If a user voluntarily provides an email address or other contact information in a support ticket, it is used only for that inquiry, account verification, or after-sales support and is not automatically added to a marketing list.
Data Collected and Its Uses
Account data includes the username, secure handling results for the password, subscription status, and traffic usage information. This data is used for authentication, account management, traffic accounting, and service delivery. Keep the username, password, and subscription link secure; a subscription link is an account credential and should not be shared publicly.
Order records include the selected plan, order amount, payment channel, transaction status, refund status, and necessary time information. They are used to confirm service activation, handle order inquiries, reconcile finances, and resolve disputes. Usage analytics may include page visits, referring pages, browser and device categories, error information, and aggregated regional information. This data helps assess page availability, detect abnormal requests, and improve the user flow. Analytics are not used to build profiles of the content users browse.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Records
5TVPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users access or retain activity records that could reconstruct specific web pages, communications, or search content. The subscription service does not turn users' network access history into a searchable profile.
The system may process necessary operational information in real time for account authentication, traffic deduction, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. However, it does not combine the source address, assigned exit address, DNS queries, or individual connection times into a long-term connection history. Connection logs are not routinely retained after necessary processing is complete. Screenshots, error details, and diagnostic materials submitted by a user in a support ticket are retained as ticket content; users may request deletion after the issue has been resolved.
Cookies and Local Storage
The website may use necessary Cookies or browser local storage to retain login sessions, language choices, interface preferences, and security status so pages continue to work normally after navigation or refresh. This data provides features actively requested by users and is not used to record the content of their visits to international websites.
Browsers generally allow users to view or clear Cookies and local storage. After clearing them, the login state and saved preferences may be lost, requiring users to log in again or select settings again. To protect account security, users should log out and clear retained session data after using a public device.
Payments and Third-Party Processing
The service supports Alipay, WeChat, and USDT. Payment steps are handled by the relevant payment channel or blockchain network, and payment credentials and information required by the channel are governed by its own privacy rules. 5TVPN receives the transaction result, order identifier, and status information needed to complete an order, but does not control data independently collected by third parties.
Third-party payment channels may retain relevant records for risk control, transaction processing, or applicable requirements. Users should read the privacy information of their chosen channel before paying. Refunds are handled under the Terms of Service; a full refund without stating a reason may be requested within 14 days of the first payment.
Data Retention, Deletion, and Updates
Account and subscription data is retained while the account remains in use. Order records are kept for the period needed to process transactions, refunds, disputes, and necessary compliance matters. Usage analytics are preferably used in aggregated form, and raw data is deleted when it no longer serves an operational or security purpose. Data that has been aggregated and cannot reasonably be linked to a specific account cannot be re-identified through account deletion.
Users may submit requests to access, correct, or delete account data through the support ticket feature in the user panel. To prevent someone else from acting on a user's behalf, account verification may be required before processing. After a deletion request is completed, relevant account data is removed from routine business systems. Information still needed for order disputes, refund records, or necessary obligations is handled until the relevant purpose ends.
If this policy changes, the updated content and “Last updated” date will be posted on this page. Important changes involving data types, purposes of use, or user rights will be announced through visible in-service notices. Please check this page regularly to stay informed about the current processing rules.
